Alison Roman is known as much for her keeper recipes as her wry Instagram voice and effortless style. Dining In, her debut cookbook, features 125 recipes for simple, of-the-moment dishes that are full of quickie techniques for the home cook. Roman’s recipes set today’s trends and will show up as tomorrow’s classics: vegetable-forward with quality ingredients, punctuated by standout flavors. We are overjoyed to host brash, Brooklyn-based Alison for her COOK debut this April. Alison will focus on planning and shopping for a menu, i.e. buying a jar of anchovies and using them twice but in very different ways. Her seasonal menu includes recipes from Dining In: spring pea and radish salad with lemon and anchovy; crispy farro with green garlic, sausage and greens; anchovy butter chicken with croutons; and, of course THE COOKIES (her signature shortbread chocolate chip cookies that have taken Instagram by storm).
