Oh, and there’s cheese, really good cheese, and here in Philly, nobody knows cheese like Di Bruno Bros. Longtime Di Bruno’s cheesemonger Rocco Rainone is heading to COOK this March for a tasting tour of Northern Italy’s cheeses, including La Tur (Piedmont, Cow/Goat/Sheep Pasteurized), Taleggio (Lombardy, Cow Pasteurized), Asiago Stravecchio (Veneto, Cow Pasteurized), Testun di Castagna (Piedmont, Cow/Goat/Sheep Pasteurized) and Basajo Blue (Veneto, Sheep Raw). Plus, where there’s cheese, there’s wine, so we’ll be pouring some Northern Italian wines to accompany Rocco’s cheese selections!
